Frozen!

Christmas is here and personally its one of my favorite seasons....

I love the nip in the air, I love the christmas decor everywhere... (it also makes you a poet!!)

ha ha!!

but no, on a serious note... its one of the prettiest times of the year... and for events its the most versatile theme for decorations....

And when you think christmas, you think winter and invariably , well at least if you are a six year old girl, you think Frozen!!

the adorable Anna, the beautiful Elsa ant the super fun Olaf... are characters we all fell in love with...

Sofia the First!

Disney is one of my favorite things in the world!

Not just because of the pretty princesses and the handsome princes (read: flynn rider.... ok so maybe he wasnt a prince per say so what?!!!!)  attached to them... but because of the stories attached to them.... the love wins it all , the good over the evil and all that!

Also disney makes for some really pretty party decor :)

Here's one I did for a Sofia the first Princess theme party:

Hot Air Balloons!!

I wanted to have a Hot Air Balloon theme for my bumling's first birthday.... but no one else was too keen on it...

Something about hot air balloons seem so magical... they way the soar up in the sky with no support nothing... just looking all adorable up in the sky!

A few month ago I did a fun photo backdrop shoot for Shiny Happy... and their logo is the hot air balloon! yayie!

I was so excited... but thats going to be another post... this one is an inspiration for a birthday with hot air balloons!!

The thing with hot air balloons is you can play into the whole vintage feel or stick to a bright colorful one.. lets try both:

Dreamworld Inspiration!

We don't mean to blow our own trumpet.... but we've been swamped with lots of work... and so this little blog of ours has been slightly neglected....

and by we I mean Me... considering that right now Happy People is actually run by a Happy Person... me!!

So between running for meetings, running to the printers, working late nights to complete all the fun orders I'm getting... for a while I'm simply going to put up some colorful and pretty party inspirations....

Today's is a magical one... anyone, who like me, lives in a dream world is going to love this...

A unicorn theme party with fresh flowers all around....This is one of the most gorgeous parties I have seen.... the colors the theme... its all just so pretty!!!

Monsters Inc

Monsters Inc is one of my favorite animation films of all time!

The thought of monsters making little kids laugh at the end of the movie... was just so sweet and heart warming... and of course who didn't fall in love with Boo? the madly adorable little baby girl!

Cake Tables Love!

We've done posts on our favorite cakes.. mini cakes... and cookies... unfortunately we don't bake!!

But here is something that we can do... the backdrops for your yummy cakes...

Cake cutting is the best part of a birthday... all the kids surround the cake table and sing the birthday kid a special song.... there is a candle... a wish to be made! 

Its a very special moment.... and also one that is most captured in photographs... so we think having a great backdrop is Top Priority!!
