I know cupcakes are super hot property right now... but frankly I think they are a bit over done....

I've found these super cute cookie images that i've been drooling and cooing over for the last couple of days.... thought i'd share them with you.... after my cake post on yummy in the tummy cakes... get ready for some adorable and delicious looking cookies!!

A Spa-arty!!!

A six year old little girl.... what would she like?

Make up.... dressing up.... swimming.... a manicure and pedicure.... someone styling her hair....

Hmmmm.... Sounds like a day at the Spa!!

That is exactly what our little client wanted... a birthday at the Spa... except we did it in her terrace.... which was way more fun because of the pool they have on their terrace!!

What a fun Spa-arty we had!!!

Lets start from the beginning... the invites!

Each invite was handmade in the shape of a nail polish bottle and they had a secret candy stuck on the bottle cover!!!

handmade flowers and pinwheels decorated the cake stand!

Hanging decor filled up all the pretty trees on the terrace ...

as well as the stall..

we had specially made banners for each of the stalls with different activities...

all bottles had new labels as per the theme of the party...

food and cupcake toppers enhanced the theme...

little stickers decorated the welcome drink glasses ...

My favorite were the popcorn boxes!

The return gift hampers consisted of little bottles filled with shampoo, moisturiser,sunscreen and bubble bath.... a handmade soap in the shape of a rose and a scented candle....

Such a fun party.... and the kids had a blast getting pampered!!

Flower Power...

One of our first Happy Parties!!

A close family friend fell in love with the paper flowers I made and insisted that be the theme for her daughters 16th birthday....

The summery colours of oranges and yellows perfectly complimented the day party on their terrace.....

This was the cake we used for bumling's birthday.... being a minion party and all it worked out just great!

A Minion Party!

The husband and  I are crazy fans of Despicable Me... Mainly because of those super adorable minions... I mean how can you not love them?

So when it came to the bumlings first birthday... The theme was a no brainer... After all he even looked like a little minion!! 

Here are a few things we did to make it look awesome!!

As most great parties... The fun starts with the invites... We handmade some adorable googly eyed minions...

And packed them into little yellow bags filled with the most awesome and the most annoying thing : colorful thermocol balls!!!!

Then came the decor... I had this dream of filling the venue with minions... So I used yellow lamps and made minions out of them as well as designed 3D cutouts of minions....

The ballon decor reflected the theme as well....

I always feel a cake is the icing on the top is terms of taking a theme forward!!! 

We even made little minion cupcakes as a return gift for everyone who came to bless the bumling that day...

Despicable Me and the minions are a great theme.... They are bright cheerful and all in all a super happy bunch!! 

Of course there's soooooonmuch more in terms of cupcake toppers menus food tents etc that can be done...
